Jillian Clare
On Wednesday, February 3, the nominations for the 7th Annual Indie Series Awards (#ISA7) will be revealed on a special episode of Serial Scoop Now, airing at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT.  ISA winner Jillian Clare will host the reveal from the El Portal Theatre in Los Angeles, once again home to the ISAs ceremony on April 6. Clare has been nominated for five ISAs over the past five years, winning in 2014 for her work on the drama Clutch.

Jen Lilley and Eric Martsolf Named Hosts of 7th Annual ISAs

Eric Martsolf and Jen Lilley will host the 7th Annual Indie Series Awards
Returning to the same stage where he wowed the crowed with his rendition of "Oh Indies," Emmy winner Eric Martsolf has been named host of the 7th Annual Indie Series Awards. Joining Martsolf is his Days of our Lives co-star and past ISA nominee Jen Lilley. The ceremony is set for Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at the historic El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood.

The two-hour ceremony begins at 8 p.m. PT and celebrates the best in independently produced scripted entertainment created for the Web.

"We are so excited to have the brilliant Eric Martsolf hosting again this year," said Indie Series Awards founder Roger Newcomb. "And pairing him with the multi-talented Jen Lilley is going to create an evening full of fun and surprises."

"This is a dream team," added Indie Series Network director Kevin Mulcahy Jr. "Having Eric and Jen hosting will make our annual celebration of indie web series even more special."

Eric Martsolf
With over 3000 episodes of television under his belt, Martsolf has been providing "love in the afternoon" with NBC Daytime for the past 13 years. His portrayals of Ethan Winthrop on Passions and currently Brady Black on Days of our Lives have resulted in numerous industry accolades-the zenith being his Emmy win in 2014.

His television credits expand into primetime (Extant, Smallville, NCIS, Rizzoli & Isles), and his musical theater repertoire consists of over 40 productions, including his critically acclaimed role as the Pharaoh in the Osmond Broadway Tour of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." He has also starred in the hit web series Acting Dead, The Bay, Venice and Miss Behave.

Martsolf resides happily with his wife Lisa and energetic twin boys in California.

Jen Lilley
Virginia native, Jen Lilley plays the deliciously devious Theresa Donovan on NBC's Days of our Lives. She previously starred as Maxie Jones on General Hospital. She appeared in Weinstein's critically acclaimed feature film, The Artist, winner of five Academy Awards, including Best Picture. She was also a series regular on MTV's improvised comedy series, Disaster Date. Other recent projects include Lifetime's The Spirit of Christmas, Where Are You Bobby Browning, Crossing Streets, The Book of Esther, Turnaround Jake, and The Olivia Experiment, as well as television appearances on The Crazy Ones, and Home and Family.

Born in Roanoke, Virginia, Lilley didn't start acting until college (University of VA) when she played the lead in an indie film called The Loss of Life. After that, she fell in love with acting and averaged six indie films a semester. In addition to acting, she is also a talented singer and comedian, performing in many improv casts including the Upright Citizens Brigade.

Her new Christmas album, "Tinsel Town," will be released on November 24.

Lilley currently lives in Los Angeles.

The Indie Series Network will once again be the charity sponsor for the Indie Series Awards. Nominations for the 7th Annual ISAs will be announced on Wednesday, February 3.

Eric Martsolf Performs "Oh Indies" at the 6th Annual Indie Series Awards

Eric Martsolf
"Oh Indies"
(lyrics by Eric Martsolf, music from Barry Manilow's "Mandy")

I've been acting all my life,
Doing Soaps from 9 to 5.
Caught up in a world, my face on a camera, crying all the time, the cash rolls in...
But you guys shoot another way,
Based on creativity.
No budget to be found, for actors or for sound, but hey you're still around, and nothing can stop you,

Oh Indies, Well you've thrived and survived and still standin'. And you're kickin' some ass.
Oh Indies, CBS, ABC, you don't need them. You've got the World Wide Web ...oh Indies.

Actors can't eat much on set,
The Red Vine jar is all ya get.
But you might see your face,
In a festival someplace,
So watch out human race,
Cause nothing can stop us,

Oh Indies. Well you've thrived and survived and still standin'. And you're kickin' some ass,
Oh Indies. CBS, ABC, you don't need them. You've got the World Wide Web ...oh Indies.

Content for the Web,
That's been our mission.
And now the best damn shows,
Aren't on television,

Oh Indies, Well you've thrived and survived and still standin'. And you're kickin' some ass.
Oh Indies, CBS, ABC, you don't need them. You've got the World Wide Web...
Oh Indies, Well you've thrived and survived and still standin'. And you're kickin' some ass.
Oh Indies, CBS, ABC, you don't need them. You've got the World Wide Web.
