First Presenters Revealed For 3rd Annual Indie Soap Awards

"2012: The Year of the Soap" continues as we announce the first wave of presenters for the 3rd Annual Indie Soap Awards, to take place Tuesday, February 21 at New World Stages in New York City's Theater District.

These first twelve are all Indie Soap Award nominees - which is not to say that's the only reason we've chosen them. For example, one of the young men is also an X-Games champion with multiple entries in The Guinness Book of World Records. A certain young woman will make her next appearance on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS January 17, possibly demonstrating some of those crazy handgun (.22, .357, .40 & 9mm), knife and Krav Maga skills. And of course, there's the talented actress who also happens to be a registered nurse!... we could go on and on!

On February 21, however, we focus on one genre: the serialized web series, or indie soap. And so, without further ado, our first 13 presenters, and the outstanding indie soap they represent.

"This first wave of Award presenters could not be more fascinating, talented, and emblematic of the Indie Soap world, and we can't wait to reveal more exciting news about the ISA's very soon."

The 3rd Annual Indie Soap Awards presented by We Love Soaps will honor the best in scripted serialized programming for the web in 2011. Winners in 22 categories will be revealed on February 21, along with the "Fan's Choice" award winner. Voting for the "Fan's Choice" continues until February 13.
