INTRODUCTION

These are the official rules and regulations for the 2019 Indie Series Awards. The 2019 (10th Annual) Indie Series Awards will be held on April 3, 2019 in Burbank, California.

Please read the rules and regulations in their entirety prior to filling out the submission form.

If you need clarity on any of the rules and regulations, please email info@indieseriesawards.com prior to submitting. We have a strict “No Refund” policy in place. Final interpretation of all rules and regulations and eligibility of submissions shall be made by the Producers of the Indie Series Awards.

RULES FOR ELIGIBILITY & SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Any professional, independently produced scripted digital series (drama or comedy) that publicly broadcast at least three original NEW episodes between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018 may be submitted by the series producer for consideration. If the series is NOT submitted by the producer, a cast or crew member may submit themselves for nomination consideration. The submission cost is the same as listed below and may not be combined with other single entries. Only show producers are eligible to submit multiple categories. Duplicate submissions will be disqualified and no refund will be issued.

2. Submissions will be accepted in the 30 categories below.

ENTRY FEES

Early Entry period runs from September 1 to September 30, 2018. The fee is $125 (up to 5 categories, $10 for each additional category).

Regular Entry period runs from October 1 to November 30, 2018. The fee is $150 (up to 5 categories, $15 for each additional category).

Extended Entry period from December 1-31, 2018, with a fee of $195 per entry (up to 5 categories, $20 for each additional category). No submissions will be accepted after December 31, 2018.


Note: If you are airing episodes in December, or are not premiering your series until December, you may still submit during the Regular Entry period. Just add a note that the URL for the episodes to be judged will be provided before December 31.


SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Fill out all the required fields on the submission form (available September 1, 2018) and click "Submit Your Series" when finished. Once we receive the submission form and certify that payment has been received via PayPal, you will receive a confirmation email.


1. Series Information - Web Series Title, Series URL, Broadcast Platform, Series Facebook, Series Twitter

2. Producer Contact Information - Name of Submitter, Title/Role, Email Address, Phone Number

3-32. You must select a minimum of 5 categories out of the 30 categories available for submission (3-32 on the submission form). For each category you are submitting your series for, fill in the name of the suggested nominee, the email address of that nominee, and a URL for the episode to be judged. NOTE: Acting categories can either be one eligible 2018 episode, or an actor compilation reel of up to 10 minutes from eligible episodes released in 2018.

NOTE: If submitting a single category as a cast/crew member, please put the contact name of the submitter (yourself), broadcast platform and select the one eligible category, nominee name and the URL for the episode to be judged then pay the submission fee ($99). As noted above, acting categories can either be one eligible 2018 episode, or an actor compilation reel of up to 10 minutes from eligible episodes released in 2018.

33. Enter the URL of a high-resolution version of your show's logo.

34. Review your entry, add up the total categories being submitted and tally the submission fee.

Pay the submission fee via PayPal as instructed on the submission form.

Should you receive a nomination (or multiple nominations) for the 10th Annual Indie Series Awards, the primary contact for the series (or the submitter if it was a single category submission) is responsible for supplying all required materials to the Indie Series Awards NO LATER than Monday, February 25, 2019. Instructions will be sent, via email, following the nomination announcement.


VOTING

All eligible submissions are reviewed and discussed by a nominating committee assembled by the Indie Series Network, the Serial Scoop and We Love Soaps editorial staff, and ISAs production team. They will handpick six nominees for each of the 30 categories.

The final round of judging will be determined by an industry panel of experts including producers, directors and other leaders from the Entertainment community who will review and rank each of the nominees in each category.
