The winners of the 13th Annual Indie Series Awards were announced on April 12 in a ceremony at the sold out Colony Theatre in Burbank hosted by Primetime Emmy winner Patrika Darbo.
Studio City (Amazon Prime) was named Best Drama Series and took five ISAs including Best Lead Actor (Sean Kanan), Best Lead Actress (Carolyn Hennesy), Best Supporting Actor (Tristan Rogers) and Best Guest Performer (Lilly Melgar).
Millennials (ALLBLK) took home the ISA for Best Comedy Series and three total awards including Best Ensemble and Best Supporting Actor (Philip Bolden).
Chateau Laurier (AppleTV and Amazon Prime) won the Best International Series award and led the pack with six overall wins including Best Ensemble, Best Directing, Best Costume Design, Best Production Design and Best Original Score.
The Rapscallion Agency (Realm) won three awards including Best Audio Fiction Series, Best Actress (Caroline Guivarch, who tied with Around the Sun star Mindy Cohn) and Best Writing.
Dark Dice star Jeff Goldbum was named Best Actor - Audio Fiction and Sheevani Desai from Hot Set won for Best Lead Actress - Comedy.
Anacostia creator and star Anthony Anderson was named the first recipient of the ISA Trailblazer Award.
